Carol is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Ohio.  She received her Master’s Degree from the Ohio State University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Akron.

Carol has experience working with both adolescents and adults, with a particular focus on college students. She is equipped to support clients with concerns related to anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, relationship concerns, stress management, and identity concerns.

Carol approaches therapy through the lenses of Person-Centered, Feminist, and Multicultural Therapy. She operates various evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Carol takes a nonjudgmental, compassionate, and humorous approach to therapy and loves to incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion when necessary. Carol loves being present with her clients and providing them a warm, empathetic, and safe space to exist.

Carol firmly believes that therapy should be collaborative between the therapist and the client, working with each client individually to discover their goals and needs of therapy.
