Katelyn Neighbarger, LPC
Katelyn Neighbarger, (she/her) is an Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Franklin University. She graduated from Capital University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
She worked as a restaurant and banquet server for the past 16 years before pursuing a career in mental health. During this time, she learned interpersonal skills and strengthened her resolve to help people more significantly.
Katelyn’s counseling style is genuine, conversational, and relaxed. She wants to help clients recognize their strengths and make changes to improve their lives. Her sessions integrate client-centered, interpersonal, solution-focused, and cognitive-behavioral therapies.
Experience in working with depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, and OCD. This diverse approach allows her to walk alongside her clients, witnessing their growth and resilience as they navigate their challenges.
She firmly believes in creating a solid rapport with clients so they feel safe, comfortable, and heard. Katelyn is a direct counselor who will challenge you on your journey.
Over the years she has learned that humor, compassion, and authenticity are the best ways to do this. Katelyn works with clients 18 to 80 years old, is interested in working with OCD clients, and is open to all diagnoses.
In her spare time, Katelyn loves to read, watch TV and movies, do yoga, and color. She also loves to spend time with her siblings, friends, and parents.
