Kelley Summers, LISW
Kelley is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio. She holds a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of New England and a Bachelors in Social Work from Ohio Dominican University. She has been working as a community mental health therapist for the last 7 years.
Kelley has experience working with individuals who identify with the LGBTQ+ community, adults, adolescents and their families. She specializes in Complex Trauma, depression and anxiety, personality disorders and Bipolar disorders.
Kelley provides an eclectic approach utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills, Polyvagal therapeutic approach, and trauma informed approaches including approaches by Dr. Bruce Perry and mindfulness activities to treat a wide range of anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and complex trauma.
Kelley tailors her therapeutic approach to client needs and client centered approach. She works to combine evidenced based treatment and empowerment and partnership with clients to meet their goal. Together, we will work on strategies that allow you to address the root causes of your challenges in your journey and build meaningful connections.
