Suzanne Bogren, LPCC

Suzanne Bogren is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Purdue University and her Master’s in Science and Education with a counseling focus from the University of Dayton. 

 

Since 1998, Suzanne has worked to create a safe, affirming, and inclusive space where individuals can learn coping strategies, increase personal insight, and meet their personal wellness goals.

 

She is trained to support adults with concerns related to trauma, depression, anxiety, stress management, difficult life transitions, and dysfunctional behavior patterns. This can include assisting clients with identifying negative core issues that can contribute to self esteem and ongoing negative mental health symptoms. Suzanne also assists individuals who are healing from past dysfunctional relationships and those who have been negatively effected by a loved one’s substance use. 

 

In treatment Suzanne uses a variety of therapeutic techniques including but not limited to : Body Based Trauma therapies, EMDR ( Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. Clients have described experiencing a combination of humor, education, support, empathy, encouragement, and skill development in their interactions with Suzanne.

 

Ideally Suzanne wants clients to feel that they are part of a collaborative relationship as they move towards meeting their therapy goals.
